Privacy Policy
DRAFT, pending owner review. Last updated: October 16, 2026.
ScoutGlow ("we", "us") is operated by Orvil Nunez, doing business as ScoutGlow, PO Box 28, Mastic Beach, NY 11951, USA. Contact: support@scoutglow.com.
What we collect
- Account and billing: your email address, Whop membership and user IDs, and membership status. Payments are processed by Whop. We never see or store your card details.
- Your profile: name, contact line, work history, education, skills, job search preferences and anything else you enter in the onboarding form.
- Your resume: the file you upload.
- Job history: the jobs we've shown you, their scores and the documents we generated, so we don't repeat jobs.
- Basic technical logs: standard request logs from our hosting provider, kept for a short time for security.
How we use it
- To find job listings that match you, score them and write tailored resumes and cover letters.
- To send your daily digest and service emails, such as profile links.
- To manage your membership, prevent abuse and comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with employers. We never submit job applications on your behalf.
Service providers
We share only what each provider needs to run the service:
- Whop (payments and memberships)
- Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage)
- GitHub (runs the daily job search; your data is held there only while the run is in progress)
- Google Gemini API (reads your resume and profile to score jobs and draft documents)
- SerpApi (job search queries made of your target job titles, not your name)
- Resend (email delivery)
These providers process data under their own terms and security practices.
AI-generated content
Resumes, cover letters, scores and interview questions are generated by AI and may contain mistakes. Review everything before you use it.
Retention and deletion
- Every digest has an Unsubscribe link, which stops emails, and a Delete my data link, which immediately erases your profile, resume and job history.
- If your membership ends, we automatically erase your data 30 days later.
- We keep a record that an erasure happened (your internal ID and the date only). Whop keeps its own billing records.
- Deleting your data does not cancel your billing. Cancel your membership on Whop.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing support@scoutglow.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you live in a state with additional privacy rights, such as California, you may exercise them the same way. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined by such laws.
Security
Your data is stored in private storage that is never public, and access is limited to the operator and the automated service. Customer data is never stored in a source-code repository. No system is perfectly secure. We will notify you as required by law if a breach affects you, including under the New York SHIELD Act.
Children
ScoutGlow is not for anyone under 18.
Changes
We'll email active members about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York. Venue for any dispute is in Suffolk County, New York, as further described in our Terms.
